2) chinese composition 7 and chapter 24 (武林盟主) hand in by next monday 28 september.
3) complete maths revision paper.

* NOTES *

1) For science exam, format are as follow:

Section A: MCQ 30marks
Section B: Structured questions

Topics to be tested:
Chapter A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, C3, C4, D3, E1, E3, F3, F4, F6.

For semester 1 exam, it will be 40% of the overall science result.
For semester 2 which is EOY exam, it will stand 60% of the overall science result.

Things that needed to bring:
2B pencil, eraser, ruler, calculator, protracter, darkblue/black pen. NO light coulour pens allowed.

2) For every maths lessons, pls bring your calculators and mathematical instrument set for lessons.

3) For home econs students, pls note that the practical exam will be postponed to next thursday 1st October and bring your 2d-cat and ingredients!

1) Do Literature passage based question. 1 question at least three quarter of the foolscap paper i think? (hand in on friday)
2) Finish up Literature Poem thingy on the 9 questions.(hand in on friday)
3) remember to finish up the CDP project. it needs to be typed-written on A4 size paper and to be handed up by this thursday 24 september.
4) Also remember to finish up the english MRL thingy and hand up by this friday 25 september.


* NOTES *

1) There will be history test on chapter 6 this friday 25 september. pls revise!!
2) there will be science test this thursday 24 september on chapters E3, F3 and F4.
3) For chinese pupils only. pls note that there will be chinese test on chapter 23 and 24 next tuesday 29 september.
Pls also note that there will be mother tongue oral examination on next tuesday 29 september from 2.45pm to 3.45pm. this oral exam will be included 40% of SA2.

1) Finish up CDP project and hand in on next thursday 24 september.
2) Finish up literature passage-Based Essay Practice on saffy's angel and the worksheet on the questions for the poem thing and hand in by next tuesday when school re-opens on 22 september.
3) For chinese pupils, pls finish up 作业23 and hand in on tuesday 22 september.
4) Finish up Science SA2 08 worksheet and hand in by tuesday 22 september.

* NOTICE *

1) there will be Geography Test on chapter 10 and 12 next tuesday when school re-open 22 september.
2) there will be History test on Chapter 6 on either next wednesday 23 september or next thursday 24 september.but study earlier in case((:
3) For chinese pupils, there maybe chinese test next thursday 24 september and ORAL after school on 24 september. but chinese test pls ask teacher if we really have it or just oral.
4) there will also be a science test on next thursday 24september on chapters E3,F3,F4. remember to study!!

Using the elements of art (Lines, shapes, colour, texture and value), create a CD front cover, based on the above theme given.

You may choose ONE of the following titles:

- Guide to be a young artist
- All the steps you need to know to be a cartoonist
- How to be a great young artist
- The world of robot drawings for kids

Your illustration must be relevant and must be able to convey the message your CD.

2. COMIC STRIP

You are to complete the story in a comic strip.

- Special effects and sound effects MUST be included

2) complete literature project and hand in by this friday 18 september.
(Note that this project will be included in CA2 as well 25%)
and also do the essay practice on saffron and sarah thingy hand in by friday together with th literature project.
3) chinese work sheet.
4) finish up maths holiday worksheet on the 70 questions and hand in to weiyang the latest by this week.
5) geography self test 3 pg 81 to 86 hand in by friday.

Geography:

Chapters that is going to be tested in Geography End of Year Exam is: chapter 1, 2,3,4,5,8,10,12.
pls remember to revise!! ((:
there will also be geography revision test on 22 september(tuesday) on chapters 8,10,12.
25 september(friday) on map readings.
29 september(tuesday) on basic techniques(chapter 11)
pls remember to learn also as the marks may be counted in CA??

literature:

Literature End Of Year exam will be tested on the 2 books: Charlie Gordon and Saffy's Angel.
example on how the examination format is:

Section 1-set test(saffy's angel)

* Choose any one of the following questions *

Q1a) Essay (out of 25m)

OR

Q1b) Essay (out of 25m)

OR

Q1c) ( must complete both parts)
part 1: paged based essay (out of 25m)
part 2: out of 25m also.
(however the overall for Q1c is nt 50. it will be divided by 2 so its also out of 25m)

Section 2(poems)
part 1,2 and 3
(total out of 25m)

Overall for literature exam is out of 50m.
